FUNDING BASED ON THE OCCUPIER
To qualify for the top bracket of funding there needs to be an occupier in receipt of one or more of the following benefits: JOB SEEKERS, INCOME SUPPORT, CHILD TAX CREDITS, EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT ALLOWANCE, DISABILITY LIVING ALLOWANCE, UNIVERSAL CREDIT, PENSION CREDIT or WORKING TAX CREDITS.
FUNDING BASED ON THE PROPERTY
The funding we obtain is based on the current condition of the property. The less efficient your property is currently, the more funding will be available to you for home improvements. The properties that currently receive the highest rates of funding are those running from electric heating systems, particularly flats. Properties that are heating by a mains gas supply are given very little funding as they are already deemed more energy efficient. WHO CAN CONTACT US
Everyone! If you are a landlord of a rental property you can check with your tenants to see if they would qualify for the higher rate of funding (benefit related). Our installations do require tenant permission, particularly when the funding relates to their benefits, however we find tenants are always extremely grateful of the work we do as it saves them huge amounts on their energy bills and often improves the aesthetics of their home.
If you are a tenant in a rented property wondering if your home could be improved in any way, have a chat with your landlord and see if they would be interested in contacting us. As many of our installations are free of charge or require a very minimal contribution, many landlords are happy to help their tenants while adding value to their property at little cost to themselves.
